how very sad
I finally cast on the back of Nantucket at my knitting group last night. The sad part is that it took quite a few tries to do so because I can't seem to count to 140. Sad. Sad, sad, sad.

I feel your pain! I saw a tip online a couple of weeks ago ... when casting on a large number of stitches, put a stitch marker every 25 stitches to make it easier to count.
I am knitting the fronts and back in one continuous piece, in the largest size, so I counted and counted and counted, and still screwed it up :( I saw the tip after I finally got it right ...errrr!
